NSW 491 policy has finally been introduced. Halfway through this financial year, NSW 491's policy has finally come out. It's more difficult than before
This year, NSW's policy is divided into three pathways, in addition to meeting the basic requirements of the immigration bureau and the residency requirements of NSW
NSW491 Pathway1(CLOSED):
1. It is not required that the occupation is in the NSW491 list, and all immigration occupations can be applied
2. Work for an employer in a regional NSW and work in a nominated occupation for at least 6 months
3. Full time is not mandatory, at least 20 hours per week
4. Meet the $73150 requirement
NSW491 Pathway2:
1. The occupation should be on the NSW491 list
2. Currently residing in New South Wales and having resided in New South Wales for at least three consecutive months; or have resided abroad continuously for at least three months.
3. You only need to meet the basic requirements, submit the EOI, and wait for the invitation from the state government. However, the state government has said that Pathway2 will be very competitive, and it is recommended to consider other immigration pathways
NSW491 Pathway3:
1. The occupation should be on the NSW491 list
2. Have lived outside of NSW or Australia for at least 3 months (Sydney is also acceptable).
3. No work/work experience requirements
4. The academic qualifications must be consistent with or highly related to the nominated occupation, and a bachelor's degree or above is required
5. Must have graduated from a school in a regional NSW within the past 2 years
